How To Adjust The RIGHT Print Border in Silhouette Studio

We are sublimation heads! and we love to print out from our Silhouette Studio.  But sometimes our print border can be incorrect and it ruins our printouts. Well, that problem belongs in the past because in this blogpost,I’ll show you how to correct that once and for all.

To select your Page size, please go to the  Page Setup panel(shown in the redbox). On point 3,you will see  Media, that is the white part on your Mat (the grey part.

At the moment the media is 12×12 inch. Let’s go!

In this second picture,we choose Letter (8.5×11 inch) as media. You can choose whatever measure that is given in the media drop down menu)

Now my Paper size on my grey mat has changed in 8.5×11 inch and also in Portrait Orientation. Keep reading 🙂

Now,because this Media, paper, is being prepared for a tumbler. I will choose the Landscape option( redbox). My Paper size(media) has changed to Landscape Orinetation. Yes!

I still need my print border adjusted, because I do not know which one I have. I am trying to prevent a bad printout here! Say no further!

You go to File (red circle),on the dropdown menu ,choose Print Page Setup (red box)

Now your Page Stup will open. Make sure you select under Size, the right measurement of your Page(Media).

In this case : Letter 8.5×11 inch.

Orientation: Landscape

And be sure to click OK.

Be sure to check the box beside “Show Print Border”  (redbox)

This was an example of how to choose the right print border for your page in Silhouette Studio.

Your page size(Media) should always equal your Print border. You setup the Page size (media) and adjust the right Print border in the Print Page Setup box .

Thank you so much for reading.
